Friday afternoon, Tony received a call from the security office at his workplace. Long story short, a husband & wife in a completely different state from where we live accused him specifically of being a stalker & a hacker. The couple has talked to Tony's employer as well as law enforcement officials.
Tony's also talked to law enforcement officials to let them know he didn't do anything of the sort, doesn't know who these people are, and will cooperate in whatever ways he can to get the whole mistake cleared up.
We're both freaked out & wondering WTF is going on. The simplest explanation is that since he has a fairly common first and last name, it's just a case of mistaken identity. The weirder, conspiracy-theory explanation is that there's something deliberately malicious afoot against Tony and/or this couple.
Either way, I've had my fill of weirdness & drama lately. Enough already. I want this new weird, wrong thing to wrap up quickly & get gone.
